Are you Sick of Lawsuits? Here at Casa de Cracker, we sure are.
That's why we won't be suing over this:
(Also, you might not want to take a bath in your pajamas. Just sayin'.)
Just because I forgot to look at the back of this:
Thanks to the Parent Bloggers Network for letting me flex my common sense muscle.

snicker. They should also say Never put on countertops :)
I just have to say what a cute Little Man you have!
I can't believe you didn't have his seatbelt on in the car! Tsk. tsk. ;P
Bwahahahahahaha! Good one, Cathy.
NW: Thanks!
Dawn: It says not to put it on "raised surfaces" but I agree -- mentioning counter tops would make it a bit more idiot proof.
Oh yeah, we have a bumbo and it has the same warning on the back. I always looked at it and thought "really, are people that stupid"
I must confess to using mine on our kitchen table though. As a high chair when we first started solids at 4 months. Bad Mom!
Love your photographic evidence!
You are priceless! And, he's cute even when he's breaking all the rules.
Hahahahahhaha!! I've done a few things with a Bumbo that I shouldn't have. It's all good. Just think our mamas used to drive with us on their laps.. Go figure that one out! PL&HG (peace, love and hair grease)
You have got to win, hands down, for entire packaging of this post.
Oh, the bebepod...The Conqueror spent the better part of months 3-8 on my counter in it. I am one of those moms...sigh.
Love it!
I think we've all put it on an elevated surface -- I haven't done the counter top, but have put it on the coffee table.
The difference to me is KNOWING you are breaking the "rules" and paying close attention vs. someone who doesn't have the common sense to realize that it quite possibly could be dangerous.
I would also like to point out that you're not "supposed" to put the infant car seat/carrier on elevated or soft surfaces (like couches).
I noticed that our exersaucer said not to use it in water. Some comment sense?
Wait? That's not a car seat? I'm in so much trouble.
i know you wish i could come up with a better comment than the one i always leave but seriously, HE is the cutest f-ing baby I've ever seen! Seriously, PIMP HIM OUT FOR BUCKS!

see I meant it. I had to say it twice.
oh, that's hilarious! Zander had a bumbo and we used it ev.er.y.where!
we couldn't use it with Logan...believe it or not, his legs were too chubby...the first time we put him in it, it stuck to his bum when we lifted him up! we had to pry it off him! ;-)
I love reading the warning labels on stuff and rolling my eyes. My MIL and I get in fights over warning labels such as these. She strictly adheres to them, where as I realize they are just there so they can't get sued if someone does use them in such a way and their child gets hurt.
Those comments were just for Britney Spears!
Love the pictures!
Great pictures! We never had one of those. I did wonder about the warnings not to be carbonated beverages in sippy cups.
NEVER trust a warning label where they misspell maneuverability!!!
Sheesh!

Well not all users must read the warning label. We were out to lunch the other day and a baby was sitting on the table in one of these AND the mom and grandma were totally not watching the kid. He was sucking on the salt shaker and throwing sugar, splenda and sweet & low packets all over the place.
Veeery cute pics!! Those warning label-writer people are SUCH BUZZKILLS!!!
Have I told you lately that I love you? Cuz I totally do.
The lead-in paragraph Wins. ;D
And of course, the Cute is off the charts!
