Last night Warrior (that's the husband if ya don't know) made us go to bed early. By early I mean 10:30pm, or 22:30 for you international peeps. I slept straight through to 6:45 this morning. WAY better than 5:40, for sure. I woke up exhausted.
Two nights ago, we stayed up until almost midnight, and woke up at 6:15am. I was less tired yesterday morning. How does that work? I don't get it. Catching up on sleep?
I don't know. All I know is that I needed extra coffee this morning. And I'm still not thinking straight.

My girl (well really she's Stefania's girl, I am just blessed to have met and hung with her on occasion) Bad Kitty has a new and totally awesome style venture called What a Bargain! It is awesometastic and a bit snarky, and completely loverly.
People are talking about the BlogHer New York Times article. And talking. Interesting discussions, and unfortunately a lot of asshatery from some (jealous?) men (who I don't want to link to (don't want them on my blog), but you can find it through the previous links).

Yes, I have more to say about BlogHer, but we all needed a break, right? I'll hopefully get to it tomorrow soon. Next installment will be less about the pictures and more about the LURVE that was felt. Seriously folks, it was there. I guess some people didn't feel it, though, tis a shame.

Anyway, someone told me (an anon troll, via commenting) that all mommybloggers are boring and that ANYTHING is preferable to blogging about your kids. Your hobbies, your political leanings, etc, anything but your kids. And I honestly don't get it. Why should a well written mom blog be taken less seriously than a blog about what celeb wore wear or a blog about American Idol? So I thought that list of "don't do's" was stupid. I admit there are some mom blogs on my reader that consist of only pictures and people gushing about their kids, but most are blogs of people I know personally and I read because I like to know what's going on with their lives. The others are nostly blogs like this one, that I found whichever way, that I come back to because I find them entertaining, despite the pictures and talkings of personal life.
Hoping sometime BlogHer will come to the East Coast...

I know what you mean about sleep. Some nights I get only 3 hours and wake up fine and other days I'm luck enough to sleep for 10 and wake up feeling like I got hit by a trian! It doesn't help that my 5 month old doesn't sleep through the night anymore... he did shortly after he was born. Then my two year old FINALLY started sleeping through the night and he stopped! I just can't get a break can I? lol! Oh, and I like the pink bag.
I always find I'm more tired on the second day after being up too late (or all night). Go figure.
