Parent Hack: Baby Spoons as Medicine Dispenser

The Little Man has to take two liquid medicines, twice a day, every day. After fighting with him for months using oral syringes and droppers, I decided to try his feeding spoon. We had just started solids and he was really into getting the spoon in his mouth.

He doesn't take very much medicine at once (less than 1 ml), so the spoon is a good option for us. For a larger child, this probably won't work. Whereas before he would turn his head from side to side, he now happily accepts the spoon coming towards him, anticipating some kind of goodness (like avocado, mmm!) and finds the medicine to be quite interesting indeed.

It has turned a twice daily battle into no big deal, and he even smiles afterwards when I tell him what a good job he did.
